Dr. Ben Saviet, DPM a Foot & Ankle Surgeon and Podiatrist along with some podiatric surgery residents from St Vincent's hospital will be joining members of AMSA, Health Professions Advising, and the Center for Career Development to talk more about the field of Podiatry, his career path from St. John's High School locally, to being a DI athlete at Providence College​, to earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago. He completed his reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton, Massachusetts, one of the premier residency programs in the country at that time.

Dr. Saviet is an active member of several podiatric organizations including the Massachusetts Foot and Ankle Society, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.

In addition to discussing careers in podiatry, he will also discuss shadowing, summer and gap year opportunities at Central Massachusetts Podiatry, leave time for Q&A, and then he and the residents will provide tutelage and opportunities for you to practice suturing.
