With tensions heightening across the world, nuclear weapons are no longer a relic of the Cold War. Come hear from a distinguished panel of experts about nuclear-affected communities in New Mexico, how nuclear disasters could (and have already) result in disproportionate effects on women, and what paths forward the world has in a nuclear world. The panel will be moderated by Jacques Linder (Religious Studies) and includes Myrriah Gómez (University of New Mexico), Amanda Nichols (UC Santa Barbara), and Ray Acheson (Director of Reaching Critical Will).
