Driven by the outbreak of war in April 2023, Sudan is currently facing the world’s fastest-growing displacement crisis and one of the worst humanitarian crises of the twenty-first century. Join us for a roundtable featuring three leading experts—Nisrin Elamin (University of Toronto), Mai Hassan (MIT), and Sharath Srinivasan (University of Cambridge)—to understand the origins of this war and the way forward.

This event is cosponsored by Africana Studies, Political Science, and International Studies.
