Details

The history of the College of the Holy Cross and other Jesuit colleges and universities, like many other institutions in the United States, is tied to chattel slavery.

The Holy Cross mission asks us to examine our obligations to one another and especially to the descendants of enslaved people whose labor is tied to the College's founding. This raises another question: What is our responsibility to our College's history today and how do we continue to center the inherent dignity of every human person?

Join us for a reflective and difficult conversation on the College's past, present, and future.

Space is limited. Pre-registration on myHC required.
