Details

Join the SPEECH Peer Educators for a dialogue dinner exploring the ideals, challenges, and responsibilities of democratic life. Together, participants will discuss who benefits from democracy, who may be excluded from its promises, what citizens owe one another, and how democratic institutions balance liberty, justice, pluralism, and solidarity.

Held in recognition of America250, this conversation invites students to reflect on the nation's democratic experiment 250 years after its founding and consider their own role in shaping its future. Dinner will be provided, and all perspectives are welcome.

Topic: What are the promises and responsibilities of democracy?
