About Us
The Society of Saints Peter and Paul is a Catholic student association which strives to grow in the Truth of Christ, to proclaim the Gospel by acts of faith and devotion, and to foster friendships bathed in the light of the Lord.
Following the example of St. Peter, our first pope and steadfast missionary of Christ, we strive to deepen our understanding of the Faith. Ever faithful to the Magisterium of the Church, and obedient to the authority of the Pope, Christ's vicar on earth, we engage in regular discourse about God, hosting theological talks and discussions so as to provide a better understanding of the Faith to our members, both Catholic and non-Catholic. By speaking and learning in a spiritually nourishing manner, we nurture the mind, grow together in Christ and foster the Word of God on our college campus.
Furthermore, following the example of St. Paul, a tireless evangelist and masterful leader, we strive to live the Faith that we study. To this end, every week we fall down in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, rendering thanks unto God and begging His assistance. We are involved in liturgical life on our campus - attending at Mass and attending frequent Confession - so as to nourish the spirit and give aid to the soul. These acts of faith and devotion ultimately serve to let our members live the Faith and to proclaim the Truth to our campus and to the world.
With Christ lighting the way, with the Holy Spirit setting our hearts ablaze, following the radiant examples of our namesakes, and asking the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, all we humbly do is done to grow in holiness, so as to know God, to love Him, to serve Him in this world and to rejoice with Him forever in the next.
