Mission
COPE focuses on building a strong connection between the Counseling Center and Holy Cross students through inclusive outreach programming designed to increase student awareness of mental health issues and reduce the stigma associated with seeking help. Through direct programming and primary prevention efforts, COPE provides education and resources for students of diverse backgrounds. COPE seeks to promote emotional well-being among Holy Cross students and to help them resolve stressful situations when they arise. As a peer education group, COPE does not engage in peer counseling.

DREAM Peer educators are trained to offer support, education, and facilitated discussions through programming. Our goal is to create a welcoming, stigma-free campus community that promotes disability pride so that all students have an opportunity to flourish and embrace their differences.

Mission
The Peer Wellness Coaches (PWC) are Holy Cross students who serve all members of the Holy Cross student community by establishing themselves as a private resource that coordinates and provides a service of students helping other students through wellness coaching strategies. Specifically, their coaching is a prevention strategy that helps to fill the space between when a student is in moderate distress and crisis. In this space, students will connect with a PWC and together, create a self-motivated and strengths-based plan to alleviate some of the struggle. PWC will also work with students who wish to proactively address their well-being.
PWC are trained in evidence-supported models of coaching and relational support. They use a strengths-based, multi-culturally aware lens in supporting students during coaching appointments. They are trained to offer support with knowledge of on campus and community resources, and to make accurate referrals to appropriate sources of help for fellow students.
**Peer Wellness Coaching is NOT psychological counseling or therapy of any sort.**
PWCs are supervised by the professional staff in the Student Wellness Education Office.

Mission
Relationship Peer Educators (RPEs) are trained to offer support, education, and facilitated discussions through programming on issues of sexual assault and misconduct, consent, and other forms of interpersonal violence for the Holy Cross community. We do this to reduce sexual violence on campus and promote a culture of healthy relationships.

Membership Benefits
The RPE members receive specialized training to educate the campus community on issues of healthy relationships, sexual and gender-based violence, consent, and other forms of interpersonal violence. As a peer education group, RPE members are a support resource, but do not engage in peer-counseling.

The Student Health Awareness Peer Educators (SHAPE) Promotes responsible decisions regarding personal and community health by developing health programs and outreach. Student's in SHAPE are dedicated to educating the student body about a variety of health issues and public health concerns, encourage health promotion behaviors, and guide individuals to wellness and disease prevention. Members of SHAPE are available to students as a resource of information regarding a variety of health concerns.

SHAPE is committed to maintaining the standards of the college and following the Jesuit value of Cura Personalis. Personal care and respect for the individual.

Mission
We're student leaders who empower our peers to prioritize their health and well-being regarding substance use. Sweet students are trained to provide honest and accurate information and respond to questions regarding drug and alcohol use. If you choose to use, we have tips and tricks to help you be safer. If you choose not to use, we have great ways for you to meet others who make the same choice!
While we come from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives, we are united in our goal to make Holy Cross as fun and safe of a campus as possible. When necessary, Sweet students can refer students with personal issues relating to alcohol and other drugs to appropriate sources of assistance and will support students who struggle with others' use/misuse of substances.

Membership Benefits
-Gain extensive knowledge about substance use in young adults as well as supporting fellow students along the entire spectrum of use from abstinence to safer use, to recovery. You will also learn about overlapping health issues such as, mental health, nutrition, stress management, sexual violence, physical health, healthy relationships, etc.
-Develop essential professional and resume-building skills in the areas of leadership, public speaking, goal setting, time management, teamwork, program planning and evaluation.
-National Certification as a Certified Peer Educator through NASPA
-Opportunities to attend NASPA regional and national conferences
-Work with faculty, staff, and student organizations to create instrumental change on campus
