CBL Opportunities

Volunteer with a Worcester-Based Agency through CBL!

Through CBL, SPUD, and GCR Community-Service Work Study (CSWS), you are able to connect with a Worcester-based agency for service. CBL opportunities are for students currently enrolled in a CBL course, SPUD opportunities are generally open to all students, and CSWS opportunities are open to work-study eligible students. The opportunities listed below are strictly for CBL students. Unsure about which program is right for you? Any questions, please contact Experiential Learning Fellow, Mattie Carroll.

To get connected to an agency, come to the Donelan Office (Smith 322)!

CBL students: Make sure to check out the guidelines for CBL for your course. For most CBL courses, there is a specific set of community partners approved for your course. Navigate to the community partner list for your course to learn about your pre-approved options on the course section of the Donelan Office's website.

Note that if you are in a project-based CBL course, you will be matched with your community partner directly through your course, so you do NOT need to sign up for your CBL community partner in the Donelan Office. If you want to do weekly service in addition to your CBL project, you can reach out to SPUD or Community Service Work Study.
